Master Of Pottery PC and Steam Deck Specs

Master Of Pottery is a Windows Steam game. AZGames lists 64-bit Windows only: no Mac build, no Linux build. Steam Deck is marked Playable, not Verified. The kiln, the wheel, and the paint bench are all mouse-driven, which is why a 2019-era GPU line still matters more than a core count brag. Minimum is enough to run the workshop, the hall, and the kiln minigame at modest settings. The GTX 650 line is a dedicated GPU from a previous decade. Integrated graphics that are slower than that class can still launch, but the paint bench and exhibition crowds are where you feel it. 4 GB RAM is the official floor; close the browser.

Recommended is a comfortable 1080p workshop. The GTX 1060 6 GB line is the card AZGames named; equivalent AMD or newer NVIDIA cards in that performance band are fine. Disk is still 2 GB. This is not a texture-streaming monster. The recommended box exists because throwing, kiln bloom, and a full exhibition hall with tourists is heavier than the title screen.

Platforms that are not on the store

There is no Mac version. There is no Linux version. Proton experiments are unofficial; this wiki will not pretend AZGames supports them. If you are shopping a machine for Master Of Pottery, shop a Windows PC or a Steam Deck.

Steam Deck compatibility is Playable. That is Valve’s middle grade: the game runs with possible issues, not a Verified thumbs-up. Expect to use the trackpads or a community layout for the kiln clicker and the wheel. The exhibition camera and UI were built for mouse. Playable is still a real way to play; it is not a promise that every menu is thumbstick-native.

Version 1.0 and what changed in load

Version 1.0 left Early Access on 10 September 2026. The 8 September 2026 update added online tokens via creating rooms (faster in public rooms) and real-time tourist comments during exhibitions. Those features add network and extra hall chatter. They did not republish the spec block. If your PC ran the Early Access career, it will run 1.0. If your PC struggled on the kiln minigame in 2019, rooms will not fix that.

Online rooms mean you should be able to reach Steam’s network. Offline career throwing still works as it did in Early Access: career mode, kiln, store, mailbox, warehouse, display room. Do not buy a new GPU for tokens.

Translation and settings quirks

Official languages are English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Italian. The English UI is a translation from Chinese and is famously rough: labels, achievement names, and tutorial lines can read like a first pass. That is not a corrupt install. Japanese players have a large community around the title (陶芸マスター). Italian is a full interface language, not a stub. This wiki’s locales follow English, Japanese, and Italian and skip Simplified Chinese on purpose.

In settings, pick the language you can actually read before you chase SSS; kiln timing instructions are easy to mis-click when the label is awkward. Mouse sensitivity on the wheel and the kiln is the control that matters. Fullscreen versus windowed is a comfort choice; the game is not a competitive esports title. Steam Cloud is listed, so a Deck and a PC can share a career if Cloud is on.

If text is squares, you picked a language pack the font cannot draw. Switch back to English or Japanese and restart. If the kiln minigame cannot keep up with clicks, lower quality before you blame the recipe. A stuttering fire pass will fail an otherwise perfect pot.

Practical buyer’s notes

A 2016-era gaming PC with a 1060-class GPU is overkill in a good way. A current office laptop with only weak Intel graphics may launch and still make the exhibition hall unpleasant. The 2 GB disk line is honest; leave extra space for screenshots and exported .pottery files if you use the collection export workflow.

Family Sharing is enabled on the store. The account that plays still needs a Windows machine or a Deck. Price around launch is about $5.99 / ¥700 with a short introductory discount on the 1.0 week. Specs do not change because the game is cheap.

Until AZGames posts a new GPU name, GTX 650 minimum and GTX 1060 6 GB recommended remain the official line.
