Patch Updates Hub

Master Of Pottery spent almost seven years in Early Access and then shipped version 1.0 on 10 September 2026. This hub is the patch desk for that timeline: what 1.0 actually added, what the Early Access career already had, and which DLC packs still sit on the Steam store. AZGames is a small studio. Patches are infrequent, specific, and usually about the hall or the kiln rather than a live-service calendar.

Child pages carry the detail:

  • Version 1.0 notes cover the 10 September 2026 launch and how Early Access saves carry over.
  • July 2026 notes cover Update 2026.7.13: live tourist comments, two extra stands, a souvenir rest area, and visitor-count confetti.
  • September 2026 notes cover Update 2026.9.8: online tokens from creating rooms, faster in public rooms.
  • DLC pattern packs list Suzhou Garden, Qianlong, Medieval, Cartoon, Persian, and the free nine-track soundtrack. No extra packs are invented here.

If you are new, read Getting Started first. If you already have an Early Access save, start on the 1.0 notes: your career, kiln, store, mailbox, warehouse, and display room are still there. 1.0 did not wipe the loop. It declared the loop finished and wired rooms plus live comments on top.

Early Access, then 1.0

Early Access opened on 11 November 2019. The store page at the time described a playable career with a full ceramic production process, a store, a mailbox, a warehouse, and a room where ceramics can be placed and displayed. That description stayed honest for years. Players threw clay, fought the kiln minigame, painted, exhibited, took orders, and eventually trained apprentices. Pattern DLC and a garden scene arrived while the game was still labelled Early Access.

Version 1.0 is the same game with the Early Access badge removed on 10 September 2026. Steam now lists the full release date as 10 September 2026 and keeps 11 November 2019 as the Early Access date. Reviews sit Overwhelmingly Positive, around 97 percent. The price around launch is about $5.99 / ¥700 with a short introductory discount. In-game money is still yen.

A regular update dated 8 September 2026, immediately before the 1.0 stamp, added a new way to obtain online tokens: create rooms and earn continuously, faster in public rooms than in private ones. A nearby regular update added real-time tourist comments: during an exhibition, visitors react to works, which hints which piece may draw a purchase request. Those two notes are the 1.0-era headlines. They are live. They are not upcoming.

What this hub will not do

It will not pretend every tiny bugfix from 2019 to 2026 has a dedicated page. AZGames posts short regular updates. If a patch only fixes a brush-stroke bug on the soundtrack app, it does not need a wiki chapter. It will not mix in other games. The Early Access badge is gone. Steam lists multi-player plus 1.0 public and private rooms for tokens, while the core loop remains a solo career.

When a future patch lands, add a new child JSON under updates/ rather than stuffing this hub until it is a changelog dump. Keep 1.0 and DLC as the two pillars until a 1.1 actually exists.

How patches interact with craft

Rooms and tokens do not change clay ranks. Tourist comments do not change inside-out firing. DLC patterns do change the motif library you can load on a pot, which is why the DLC page links into painting and SSS. If you came here because a store row appeared after a patch, slot it by function on the upgrade list (tool, part, colour, pattern, booth, ad, decoration, drink) and only then write a patch blurb.

Support remains azgames@foxmail.com. The developer site is http://www.azgames.cn. Twitter is @AZGameProjects. Patch notes appear on the Steam news hub for app 1160490. This wiki restates the notes that affect play; it is not a mirror of every Steam event post.

Read version 1.0 notes if you want to know what changed on launch week. Read DLC if you want to know whether Suzhou Garden is a scene or a pattern pack (it is a scene plus a wheel). Then go back to the wheel. The most important update in this game is still a clean firing, and no patch has replaced that with a skip button.
